What you'll do

• Perform medical billing processes including charge entry, claim submission, and payment posting.
• Verify patient information and insurance details for accuracy.
• Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and drive them to resolution.
• Identify and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Stay compliant with US healthcare regulations and payer requirements.
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation of work performed.
• Coordinate with coding, credentialing, and client services teams.
• Meet productivity and quality targets consistently.

What you'll need

• Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
• 0 to 2 years of medical billing or RCM experience. Freshers are welcome and will be trained.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical ability.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work US working hours when needed.
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Solid problem solving and time management skills.
• Team oriented with a focus on accountability.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with medical billing software such as Kareo, AdvancedMD, or Athenahealth.
• Understanding of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes.
• Exposure to US healthcare payer systems.
• Experience with EHR or EDI systems.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance.
